Re: Hearing Your Survey Read on the PodCast

Oh goodness, yes. Very intense. Heard it, immediately felt flush and my face got really hot. Thankfully I was alone. I'm happy that I finally shared something that had been weighing on my for so long. However, I still am feeling somewhat embarrassed and that I should have just lurked instead of putt...

Re: Trying to close my parents' estate

Thanks so much for the replies. I really appreciate taking the time to respond. It really feels better when you know people have been through experiences so simliar in this. I've found that not a lot of my friends my age have dealt with this, so I don't talk about it too much, and if I do, I just st...

Re: Love!!!

Isn't it awesome how pets are just so excited to see you when you get home? You really feel important and loved in those few moments. I love it. :D

Trying to close my parents' estate

Hi everyone. My parents have both passed away (2001 Dad, 2009 Mom--I'm in my early/mid twenties) and I'm still dealing with clearing out the family house. My eldest brother is out of the picture and my older brother in the middle is now thankfully in a sober living situation for the next 9 months, s...

Welcome :) You definitely did not waste any of my time posting. I hope getting your thoughts out to others has been as much of a help to you as it has been to me.

Thinking of some Fears

1. Getting phone calls and voicemails either very early in the morning or late at night as it may end up being extremely awful news. 2. Sinking so far into myself that I lose my SO, my friends and my family because I just need to hide. 3. Going to the doctor and finding out I have an awful medical c...

Thinking of some Loves

1. The moment you step out of the office Friday afternoon knowing you have a whole weekend free 2. A huge plate of delicious fettucini alfredo 3. Getting a genuine compliment that makes me feel good 4. Putting on a pair of new, fresh socks 5. Going on a long drive and blasting music 6. Autumn days a...

Re: Fear off

I'm afraid that I will not be paying attention while driving one day and as I am making a right turn from a stop, I will hit someone because I was looking the other way for traffic. Same thing here. Living in a larger community with more pedestrians is terrifying. Making right turns close to my job...

Re: Hi everyone. A bit of a freak out.

Thanks for your message. I really appreciate you taking the time to write. Oh grammar. The funny thing is I was a writing assistant in college. Goodness. 4 years out and I've retained nothing! I get embarrassed and ashamed quickly when expressing myself, so hearing it read allowed just brought back ...

Hi everyone. A bit of a freak out.

Hi. I've been meaning to write an introduction post, but I never seemed to have the time. I listened to Episode 120, and realized my survey was posted (J.S. a girl in her twenties). I already freaked out a bit, realizing that one of my big secrets was shared to the world. Also, I apologize Paul and ...
