Re: Troebia's Diary

Thank you Manuel, I'm making some progress with a found Python script that allegedly traverses a whole phpBB forum thread and downloads the text in csv format. I'd only have to add my own images later. I'm still torn about where to continue posting. Somehow it feels like getting off this train (for ...

Re: Troebia's Diary

people were only interested in getting near Paul's personal dynamism, which is understandable. Yes, I can get that. It's funny but I've never missed Paul since I came here after he left. I feel at a sort of crossroads now: on one hand I like the small community interaction here, and on the other my...

Re: Troebia's Diary

And while I'm at it, it would be so nice to be able to install a (free) spam filter on the forum to get rid of most of the bots...especially the Russian ones.

Re: Troebia's Diary

I think I can access this feeling. With my high-school friends, made a lot of funny videos. I ended up throwing away all the tapes. That whole part of my life was colored with sadness and longing. In a moment of weakness, I reacted to that, and threw away all the tapes. Kinda sad. This makes me thi...

Re: Troebia's Diary

I have a large drawer filled with finished sketchbooks dating back a couple of years. They partly make me cringe and partly make me sad. It's mostly mindless scrawling and doesn't represent any value, and I've always thought that when I get "better" and start making stuff I'm actually prou...

Re: Troebia's Artist Decalogue

Here are some new things I want to try in order to unblock myself as a creative, in the form of commandments (work in progress, more to come): You shall not fetishise art materials. Anything can be used either as a tool or as a support. Nothing is precious or essential. You shall not compare yoursel...

Re: Troebia's Diary

https://www.charlottegiblin.com/ I've had a look at her YouTube channel and also some of @marienoellewurm 's videos talking about mental health, and wasn't impressed. Charging via Patreon for classes is great imo, but these creators delve a lot into their private life and talk sweepingly about ment...
