Hey everyone, first off, I suffer from anxiety. I'm also a full time police officer and part time mental health clinician.

Mental Illness first struck me as a teen, when a friend of mine killed himself. He constantly talked about it and I kept blowing him off. I didn't know how to deal with what he was saying or what my resources were. I also, at one point in my young teen life, found myself at a low point and wanted to (and tried too) take my own life.

I hope that I can shed some light on what I do a a cop, clinician, and find a community with others who deal with what I deal with.

Not a day goes by that I live with the guilt with not getting my friend some help and not a days go by that I wake up in the morning and work to cope with my anxiety.
