OCD With Schizophrenic Affect

If the name doesn't make it obvious, "OCD with schizophrenic affect" means having delusions in addition to obsessive-compulsive behaviors (no hallucinations, though, just delusional thinking). My maternal aunt has this issue, and was not managing it for most of her life until recently. She's a lot better now that she resides in a semi-supervised community for adults with mental illness, and basically has someone making sure that she takes her meds every day.

I have a couple of questions about this: how common is OCD with schizophrenic affect? Does anyone on the forums have this issue? And if you have this issue, what motivated you to seek (and stick with) treatment?
