Is it reality or just part of BPD?
I am not sure if my memories of childhood and growing up are actually real or if they are exaggerations, distortions, or straight up real. I feel like I am overreacting to things that really are not worth reacting to or should not have such an effect on me now. I feel like it is all the borderline. I blame myself for everything and think that I should have handled it all better.
We are powerful despite our injuries.

It's not your fault.
I don't know much about BPD and I'm not sure what you went through as a child. But it's not your fault. You can't control the memories of your childhood or what they did to you. All you can do now is work to recover and manage your mental illness, and we are here to support you.
