I feel directionless sometimes when I feel like giving up. If what I really want is impossible, then what do I do with myself?

Sometimes I feel like I'm standing outside in the dark and my hopes and dreams are the stars. I know what direction they're in, but when I try to go that way, I just take a sad little hop and then fall down.
