About to be kicked out

Post by TravellingStill »

I was forced to move back home so that I could try to get my mental health back in order but it's only made it a whole lot worse. I'm in such a rural area I feel like I've been under house arrest for a year. I can't get a job, and I can't get mental health care. Now I'm about to be kicked out. I should have never come back but I was afraid I'd kill myself and was trying to take some control over my life but now I don't have any independence anymore. I hate my life.

Thankfully I'm still here, but it's always looming. I'm a codependent person, and now there's this threat overhead that if my mother has one bad move and I could be on the street. I'm a goddamn adult, and I hate not having a place of my own where I can feel like an adult and be responsible for my own life.

Thanks for sharing. I'm in much the same situation. For me living paycheck to paycheck has been a terrible idea, now that I have to come up with a deposit out of thin air on short ntoice! (btw, coincidentally I'll be posting in my anxiety thread about trying to find a place.)

Is there anything that can change as far your finances and/or professional or earning ability?
