Ask for encouragement: complete code project this week.

Hi friends.

I am hoping to spend ten hours (easy, if I stick to my eating/sleeping plan, see below), to complete a coding project in order to start to get calls from recruiters that lead to interviews, hopefully.

I'll post here each night this week, as I spend two hours a day, or complete a functional project. I have several tutorials ready.

I should avoid HALT if (1) I have no screens after 9 pm and (2) eat breakfast before leaving for work.

Any encouragement is greatly appreciated. Much MIHH love.

Thank you my friends! Your encouragement helped me a great deal.

Day 1/5: I slept and ate properly. I happily accomplished three hours of coding.

The first project I tried took two hours and didn’t work.

Undeterred I started a more difficult project, and got an hour into it.

If I stay cool I should be okay. I have a long way to go with this second project, but so far so good.

I did okay today: I knew it would be a light day, and I am on track with my hours.

Tomorrow I’ll be a bit more in depth. If I stay cool and calm and focused I should be okay.

Day 3/5

The good

I am eating well and getting plenty of sleep. Halt is a minimum.

The bad

I had to start all over, at 6 pm Wednesday.

I knew the first two tutorials were brief but poorly done. My second project was hopelessly broken.

I’m starting over in the morning with a stronger tutorial that actually has instructor support.
