So this is me

Hmm, I'm not sure what to say, a little nervous to be doing this, but something told me to.

I have been listening to the podcast for about two years now and it is hands down the best source of comfort in feeling less alone, less fucked up and less weird.
When I start spiralling into an inner monologue of despair, I often can hear Paul's voice reading out some surveys and I smile because it's good to remember that we are all in this soup together ;)

I have dealt with mental health issues all of my life and while I would say I am definitely in a better place with regard to self awareness and clarity, I am still experiencing great pain around unresolved early trauma, that of which I cannot comprehend or remember.

It does make one feel alone, especially when you can't explain exactly why you are so crushed by anxiety and afraid of closeness

Anyways, I will keep this short.

It's good to be here and I'm grateful for that

Welcome. I've been listening for a couple of years too, and the podcast has been a big help to me to. I basically consider it my support group or therapy. Listening to peoples stories, struggles, and awfulsome moments brings me comfort too.
