Re: Been Lurking for a While... Time to say, "Hello!"
I hope your blog writing makes it a little easier for you. I always found writing so alleviating. And reading too. Reading how other people dealt with pain and fear.

Re: How to be creative again
Hello fellow suffering creative mind. I am currently dealing with this. But I try to see my creativity as the thing that it is. A vital function of my mind. It is basically like digestion. You are probably sensitive and perceptive. So you need to get some stuff out of your head. Deal with the things...

Pain transfer summoner ... wow. Powerful words. That's how it works. We don't create pain. We hand it down. But that's just my two cents ...
I'ld love to hear the song to this.![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon/smile.gif)

Re: when you don't fit the textbook example of BPD?
DBT and skills therapy can sometimes come across as way too simple and maybe a bit insulting. Could it really be that these intense emotions that I suffer from so greatly, can be eliminated by breathing and meditating over the smell of a flower? No. But if you really try to push your "ego"...

Re: How do I hold all these feels?
It probably sounds like I'm mocking you, but the thing you need to do first, is to accept whatever it is you're feeling. Through therapy I have learned (and am still learning) to work my way through intense emotions and disturbing thoughts, but the first way is always acceptance. Sounds easier said ...

Re: when you don't fit the textbook example of BPD?
That sucks. I'm sorry you had to make that experience. When I meet people like that, I tell myself that I might react the same way, if I wasn't sick myself. I guess people need to ensure themselves that mental illness couldn't hit them like anyone else and that sheer force of will could protect them...

Great idea! And a great milestone for you, even if this job interview isn't going to turn out the way you planned, you made a huge step, that I have yet to make. And I'm sure it's only one of many! My personal victory: I made it out of depression alive and am still dealing with my personality disord...

Re: when you don't fit the textbook example of BPD?
Hey you, I can't give you a third opinion but just my own story. I am also a Borderline Personality that doesn't quite fit the book. Neither did the majority of the Borderliners that I met over the years. You don't have to fit all the criteria for a BPD diagnosis to qualify as such anyhow. And diffe...
