Re: Crazy-Making Behavior and Boundaries
Thanks for posting Weary and saying that you were angry initially about what I said.
I don't think there's much point for me to say anything more, except that I hope you find some peace and happiness however things develop over time.

Re: Why is so damn hard to make friends
I had this discussion with my therapist a while back. Basically her suggestion was to try to do more friend related things... eg. listen to what some of these people like, have problems with, and see if you can help them outside of the sports venue. Eg. be a friend vs. a teammate. Make small steps t...

Re: Crazy-Making Behavior and Boundaries
Hi Weary, This seems like a hell of a lot to unwind in a forum discussion, or even possibly with a close friend. Have you considered marriage counselling? Also your quote I love my wife and she loves me Not to criticize but... I don't see a whole bunch of evidence this is the case in what you've wri...

Re: Why is so damn hard to make friends
I'm late 30's and in a similar position. I'm hardly in a position to deliver advice on this topic, but I have heard that doing stuff you are interested in for the sake of the activity and letting friendships build from there is a good way. Its not easy.

Twitter feed of pics of people's best moments of their lives
On the @richarddeitsch twitter feed he has people posting pics of the best moments of their lives.
Quite frankly it depresses me a bit on the whole, but thought I'd post it here in case anyone was interested.

Episode 122: Giving Up Her Baby – Valerie
Valerie, a listener talks about the painful decision she made to give her only son up for adoption years ago when she was 18 and living with her Catholic, divorced mother. Recorded via Skype so the audio quality isn’t optimal. First half of the show is the interview, second half is surveys.
