I am beginning to face this and it is tough. All I can say is I try to focus on how many of those things that I've not yet done I can still do. But I have to admit that doesn't always work.
Hang in there!

Episode 184: Pamela Martin
I got a lot out of this episode. The main part for me was not a specific topic but that the guest was so detached when speaking about the early abuse. Also admitting that she hasn't fully processed it yet. You could tell the guest got more comfortable as the interview went on. I found the smiling pi...

Re: Epiosde 183 - Jason Nash
This was a great episode, good issue coverage.
I thought Paul did great with the silences and also responding to questions about his background when Jason asked without making the podcast about him.
Some great one-liners too.

I think I liked this episode. I would like to have heard more about her earlier years late teens - early 20's. I definitely like the last 1/3 or 1/4 of the episode but I can't remember the specifics. More followup on how she felt about not being asked out / approached would have been good. Its inter...

Re: Empty
Sorry to hear that. I don't really have much to add, only advice that I should be taking myself! Perhaps there is a hobby or interest you can spend more time on doing, that is what I'm trying to psych myself up to do right now. Also doing things like exercise each day, wake up at the same (early) ti...

Pretty depressed
Thanks Hokori for your reply a few months ago! :D So I'm pretty depressed right now. I'm writing this entry as part of a new wordpress blog I"m starting but I will cross-post here. At least I'm getting something done. Sometimes the summers are so hard when the weather is good, it feels like eve...

What happened in the last month?
What have you previously enjoyed that you don't any longer?

I'm a little bit older and do a job that couldn't be done by an 18 year old but still feel more or less the same.

I liked the comment Paul made about going out to buy clothes after having the same 9 tshirts and 1 pair of jeans for the last three years ... its similar to me.
