Anxiety about my own mortality.
Hey there guys, I suffer from major depression and some anxiety. Just this past Saturday, I was out at a late night horror movie at a local theater. I went by myself, was prepared to sit down in a somewhat crowded old movie theater and watch a badly dubbed, probably more than gory, Italian nightmare...

Re: Lost My Job in August-Still Feeling Lost
Thank you, Moe. I appreciate it. I need to get on my meds. I should be getting them in the mail soon, so I hope that can level the playing field in my head a bit. Another part of it is just trying to find a job that has the combination of good to decent pay, the right hours, and the right type of wo...

Re: Unemployed and Feeling Lost
To a degree I'm willing to work. I say that because I only have a certain amount of experience in certain areas of work life. Also, regular heavy lifting and work I can't do due to a health issue. I'm also male that identifies as male.

Unemployed and Feeling Lost
Back in August of this year, 2014, I was laid off of my job. It was a place I worked on and off for 4 years. At the time I was let go, I had been there for three years straight. It was a family owned security company, the kind of place that because it was a family owned place it played fast and loos...

Dating Downs.
So this is something that has happened in the last few days with me, and I wanted to see if others have gone through the same thing or are going through it now and get some feedback. I'm 29, male, and I've been trying to date again after moving back to Chicago. I've been single for a while, and my d...

Re: other entertainment industry folks out there?
I agree with American Russ, Powerpac7. What you've accomplished up till now is HUGE, and not everyone can say that. Yes, you might be engaging in work that isn't the same level or area where you want to have a career, so what? Right now, and you NEED to keep this in mind, it is a means to an end. It...

Re: other entertainment industry folks out there?
Hey there PowerPac7, I definately know how you feel. I've been through what you're going through at least twice so far in my life, and I'm 28. I work as a puppeteer, and about 4 1/2 years ago I got an opportunity to move out to the Pacific NW and work for a company that was working on parade charact...

Hello. Hopefully this can help a little.
Hello everyone. My name is Marc and I'm originally from Chicago and returning to Chicago after a year of living in Portland, OR. Where to begin, well I was diagnosed with major depression back when I was a senior in highschool (I'm 28 now). Later on when my physciatrist past away, I discovered that ...
