Re: Mom mistakes my depression for laziness

Thanks, LettEggs. It's a lot harder finding work straight out of college than people think. My mom and I recently had a heart to heart, and things have gotten much better. Hope you can work things out with your mom. Best of luck!

Re: Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Hang in there, eshkol. I don't know you personally, but you seem like a wonderful, kind, and sensitive person. I hope you have someone in your life you can talk to in depth about your troubles.

Sending my love, and many hugs.

Mom mistakes my depression for laziness

I'm having a lot of trouble with my mom right now and wanted to share here. My mom is very important to me, but I don't feel like I can really talk to her, especially about my depression. She also deals with depression and anxiety, so I hate to burden her with my own issues, but her comments lately ...

Re: Lawn mowing shame

Unless she's super OCD, 1 or 2 patches of uneven grass are not going to bother her; she probably won't even notice. Don't be so hard on yourself! You are a wonderful person for donating you...

Re: Exhibitionism

I'm the same way, psm45. I like to walk around the house naked, and the fact that someone might accidentally catch a peek is exciting to me. I generally find being in the nude very liberating, like a big fuck you to a society that's constantly telling me I'm not thin, shapely, or pretty enough. It's...

Re: Shame

Oh, sweetie. 120 at 5'6''? You are already a skinny minnie. Your psychiatrist can't make you do anything you don't want to do. Tell him that you're not ready to tell your mom and go from there. I hope you can get some help and get healthy. I've never struggled with an eating disorder to this extent,...
