when Failure is the issue
Hi all, There was a thread about a year ago that delved into not feeling like you've achieved anything; i'd like to bring up a similar issue from my own perspective. I feel like I can't quite get around or past failure. I'm an artist, and have been at it 20+ years, which I recognize is something of ...

New to Support groups (Underearners Anonymous)
Hi all, I'm in my 40s, and have never experienced the support group culture. I was introduced to the Underearners Anonymous concept about a year ago. I was open to it initially, but after 2 in-person meetings and one phone meeting, i'm not feeling optimistic about it. I know Paul has talked about go...

Re: Unemployment and Job Search (Underearners Anon.)
Hi Oak,
just jumping on this thread even though it's from several months back.
I'm new to support groups, so though I've gone to 2 in-person UA meetings and one by phone, I'm not feeling it.
Wondering if you or others have had similar experiences.
all best,
M

Re: Hello and Intro- No time like the present
Great- thanks so much Pixelmutt (hard to say that name w/out a little self-consciousness)- appreciate your sympathy. Would love to know how you and your wife manage the dynamic of income providing. It sounds like your wife is totally fine with it, but do you ever wonder if she harbors a little resen...

Hello and Intro- No time like the present
Hello all, I fairly recently became a listener of the podcast (since about 2 months), and now love it and know what a huge and important contribution it is. So here's my status, and will try to keep it brief: I'm what I would call mildly depressive, on generic wellbutrin for the last 5 months, which...
