Re: Yep, Troubles Indeed

Ok, so where was I last time? Oh yeah, no change of housing in the near future, leaving awkward cohabitation with Sweetie. :? We can make small talk but it's weird. I try to spend as long as I can outside the house when Darling works late. I miss him in a way, and am working towards not feeling rese...

Re: Yep, Troubles Indeed

Well, I need to get my finances in order before I can move forward with the homebuying. Kinda figured, but it's good to knowIfor now.

I don't have any really "angry breakup" songs in my playlist. Mostly stuff that expresses how I feel about the whole situation.

Re: Yep, Troubles Indeed

Thanks troebia! :D So the last few days have been kinda hard and kinda not. Work's going ok, med decrease is as well (oh yeah I'm ramping down from 40mg of Prozac to 20mg two weeks ago. ). I'm mostly angry at Sweetie. He doesn't understand that me chalking our breakup up to differing opinions ...

Re: Anniversaries

Trauma Anniversaries suck. My "widowhood season" is all of July and the first half of August. I'm almost done with season 8. July was easier than usual but this month sucks. I always take the late Mr. Watie's death day and his birthday off. I am coping better overall, but it's taken many y...

Re: Another birthday he can't celebrate

Plans so far: breakfast with one of my oldest friends, and perhaps a solo stroll around a local park of amusement I have a pass for and use up the food coupons I have.

And probably charging my trusty car because it's got a small battery and I'm using the A/C a lot. Lol

Re: Yep, Troubles Indeed

Anyhow I can agree with what you say, moonlightwatie, about the value of spending time by yourself. Often I feel, and also see in others, the tendency to define one's entire life by the relationship(s) one has. I so resemble this! In the past 35 years, I've been in four major relationships. The fir...

Another birthday he can't celebrate

Anyone else feel a bittersweet twinge in their heart when someone whose suicide you survived has a birthday roll around? Mr. Watie (my late husband) killed himself just over 9 years ago, a month before he turned 52. So this is the tenth time after his death that his birthday is rolling around again....

Re: Yep, Troubles Indeed

Thanks for the replies. :) Couple things-- Sweetie and Darling are in their mid 30's. I'm 48. Sweetie can only get property with the help of his Mom. She has her late husband's VA loan, and her living at the property is a requirement. Darling wants to spend more time on his digital art and transitio...

Re: RIP Mr. Watie, 1962-2014

I fully admit I'm procrastinating doing the last bit of work I really should do tonight. MJ's due home in a couple hours, and I kinda want to be up when he gets home. :) :P The 9th was PM's birthday. I didn't get to spend it with him. I hope to get together with him soon. I'm a little nervous about ...
