Tell Depression To Fuck Off

Wasn't sure where to post this so it's here (obviously). I've published a short e-book called 'Tell Depression To Fuck Off'. It contains much useful advice and some tactics I have gleaned over three decades of living with depression. It is available for $1.99 at all e-book retailers, here's a link: ...

Re: An attempt at honesty

Fog! It's the middle of summer here (which in Wales means it's cold and raining...) Here's a review I had for my book 'Positive Thinking & The Meaning of Life'. I know it sounds like I've made it up but I swear it's true: "This is the best book ever i have read in my life,it builds and enco...

Re: when does it get better?

Screaming into the void is a phrase I often use for how I feel on facebook - I hardly use it now but get very depressed when I post stuff and nobody notices. This forum is much better for making real connections with people. Just go and post on a few topics and you'll soon be engaging with lots of p...

Re: when does it get better?

Wow, it never rains but it pours, doesn't it? A friend of mine got divorced last year and had to carry on living with his wife for months until he found his own place. Once they had properly separated he could breath a huge sigh of relief. If you now own the house then maybe you can find a legal way...

Re: This is my stuff I have created

I always struggle with time. I think I'm pathalogicaly lazy and feel that I do nothing most of the time but I do seem to somehow get a lot done over time. Making music is very easy and quick (the way I do it) and I find it pretty easy to write things for my comedy show. Writing a novel is a fucking ...

10 loves of mine

I love going for a walk very early morning when there's nobody around and the birds are tweeting and the world seems ineffably peaceful I love staying in bed for hours with a really good novel I love cooking a meal that someone else visibly enjoys I love hearing a new band and thinking 'wow, they're...

Re: An attempt at honesty

Not quite sure what's going on in my brain this week. Felt really shitty first few days, then a 2 hour lunchtime nap seemed to reset my brain in some way and then I felt great. However, I find myself pondering on the fact that there is still a lot of shit from my childhood that keeps coming back to ...

Re: A Forum IRC?

Is there a way of setting this up so that it can only be accessed by people who are members of this forum - maybe a password only posted on this thread? I live alone and have chronic insomnia and would really love to be able to just chat about random stuff any time of the day or night.
