Re: Coming off celexa but become angrier

No to be honest that's not me. I've had trouble making friends because I was very sheltered due to health issues and was never asked out until my first boyfriend asked me out at age 22 he was a good guy and it lasted a long time!!! My radar on who is good and bad has gotten a lot better since my 20'...

Coming off celexa but become angrier

I'm trying to be positive and work on me but past relationships are still hurting me and I can't seem to get rid of them. On top of that I'm weening myself off celexa and just lost my unemployment :( Then last night happened I've always been pretty uncomfortable around men. I had 1 serious boyfriend...

Needing to Vent but also need some advice!

I realize I have been positing a lot but not answering a lot of others concerns, so I want to do more of that :) I thought this would be a nice place to express some things then get some advice on ways to forgive myself, others and how to stay positive... what have you tried? Does anyone feel the wa...

Turning into a realist not a pessimist

So this has been a very rough 5 years and the last few weeks have been especially bad ... A lot of highs and lows. Last night I missed my ex so much I crief over it. I had an interview for a live-in nanny job but she clearly was not too fond of me so it was very awkward... That kind of got me down b...

Guilty about depression

So.. The cycle continues :( last week I had a great audition, interview for a well paying nanny job and a new place to live!!! Then this week I found out my friend has stage 4 cancer, I was let go because they decided to stay with their old nanny and back at square one. I don't have any more fight i...

Re: Feeling trapped in a cycle

I feel like I want to meet like ONE person ASAP, and just go on a date or 2 just to see that someone who is like my ex also can like me... I feel like it would help me get over it a little faster.. get my confidence up, it won't come from me, I'm still too smitten. My roommate told me that his last ...

Re: When you and your therapist disagree?

I have to agree, I may give her another chance and stress more of my anxiety I'm feeling... it feels complex, in one way I'm afraid I will like them and then set myself up for a breakup, and I am also afraid I will compare them to me ex, who I just can't shake but I don't think I can get over ex unt...

When you and your therapist disagree?

I'm not sure if this is a big issue or if it can become an issue. My therapist 99% of the time is quite excellent for me. In my last session though I told her I was going to take at least a year off from dating and she asked me why. I told her because of my panic attacks and general uncomfortable fe...

Re: Feeling trapped in a cycle

I just saw your message!! Can I beat myself up a teeny bit for it? LOL

I appreciate your words, it is scary to leave your shell I think... I'm feeling a little more ready day by day and it's hard not to feel on a time table.

Re: Seeking any SSRI takers for honest reviews

Which SSRI did you take? Sertraline (Zoloft) 25mg f How has it helped you? It didn't I was on it for about 2 weeks in college. If it didn't help, did you find yourself worse off? Yes, I never slept, I cried all the time, I felt angry at everyone and like I was on pins and needles. Now I take 10mg of...
