Re: Doing 'work' in therapy.

Ps crying in therapy in my opinion is considered work. You need to get it out. You're already working hard you just don't see it.

Re: Doing 'work' in therapy.

Therapy is such hard work. It's so true. It isn't just talking about your problems to someone it's basically you having to put in the effort outside of therapy between sessions to get better. My therapist gives me little assignments. Like write down three things I learned, and what I am grateful for...

Re: What do you do after an attack?

I always have to get lots of rest after an attack. It takes so much energy from us so sleeping it off is a great idea. I also drink a lot of water and try and do healthy shit like yoga and eating a healthy meal lol. If you keep having recurring episodes I would definitely go to a Dr. I have to take ...

Weekend full of symptoms

Today I feel shaky and dizzy. I also feel lethargic and heavy. Like my body literally feels too heavy to be able to move around. I want to clean but have no energy. I had to take a shower sitting down. I feel anxious to do something but don't feel like it at the same time. I feel tired but wired. Al...

Re: meditation app

These are what I have on my phone at the moment: Relax Lite, Deep Sleep Hypnosis, and Sleep Well. Rela Lite was recommended by my therapist for panic attacks but it also put me to sleep easily. Hope this helps.

Re: Getting anxious and panic attacks

When I am in panic mode my body shuts down so it makes me unable to go....then I get a stomach ache and it hurts and I'm bloated and jeans don't fit and I have to go to work which sends me into a deeper panic. I try to eat well and I take these magnesium supplements that help. But I'd ask your dr de...

Ps I think yoga would help if you have anxiety and low self esteem or any emotional "blockage". Inbox me and keep me posted if you find any exercise routines that work for you!!!

Re: Mental blocks about exercise

I get the mental blocks too...I hear all the time exercise works better than antidepressants but honestly I haven't felt that way yet...maybe it's our mindset? Before I plan on working out my mind says no what's the point you won't stick with it and you're gonna feel like shit for the rest of your l...

Counting seconds and steps I take, etc...

I can't stop counting I've realized lately...mainly seconds in my head. It is mainly random counting like it doesn't have to be exact; I just say numbers in my head and repeat..not sure if it's a form of anxiety or ocd??? I don't know. I do it mainly at work. For example when I'm walking back from m...
