My intro

Hello! As this is my first time on this site, I would like to make an intro. I'm no wizard with words, but I'll do my best to give a run down about myself:

Suffered from social anxiety for most of my life (I'm now 40), depression, and recently have been isolating from my friends and family. I've never had much self confidence, and it's hard for me to make friends. Even when I do I am not a very good friend and keep them distant. Most of my romantic relationships begin online and don't last long because I expect too much or pick them apart and psych myself out of being with them. I typically hop girl to girl with no break in between.

While I come from a good family, I keep them at bay too. Haven't talked to my dad in over two years. He's never been a good dad.

On the positive note, I have a job (which nobody really understands me or likes me because I don't talk to anyone), house, car, etc. Those are about the only positives in my life right now.

Feel very insipid about life in general, even some days just wishing it was over. Just tired of every day being a struggle an it gets old.

Hoping to read through this forum and get some good information and maybe know that I'm not alone.
