I was not sure where to post this topic since we don't really know what's going on with Randy Quaid but it bothers me that his struggle has become a national punchline. Sure, I don't know him but he seems unbelievably troubled and has been this way for the better part of a decade. This is not something like Joaquin Phoenix staging a fake meltdown, this seems scarily real and it bothers me that it's being treated as comedy. If it is, then Quaid must be the most committed comedian in the world since he doesn't have an IMDB credit to his name since 2009.

I agree with you, it's really troubling how someone with a mental illness is ok to be attacked because they are famous.
