I'm here

Post by Britney2007 »

I don't know where to begin. I didn't read anyone else's intro's yet because I don't want mine to sound like some stupid generic post. I feel like this might be the one place in the world I can be me....so here goes....

I'm a long-time sufferer of depression and anxiety and recently connected the dots to some serious emotional abuse (via my parents). I'm in therapy. I tried a support group and it was fucking awful and I bolted.

What else can I say....I'm a ray of fucking sunshine.

Hey! Welcome.

I am very glad you are using your words. I am glad you posted. Keep posting.

Congratulations on going to therapy. Well done!

Yeah, there are some creepy/uncomfortable/weird support groups out there. There is that satisfying and terrifying moment of the moment of deciding to bolt. At least there is for me.

I do not hold you to being a ray of sunshine, especially if you don't feel like one, but I do affirm your human worth and dignity.

Take care!

Thank you for being MY ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark day.
