I was diagnosed a couple of years ago in my mid-40s with depression and anxiety disorder. In the meantime, I have come to realize I have been living with anxiety and, to some degrees, depression since childhood.

It's funny (or sad) to see things like anxiety & depression that have been a part of life all along, and at 40 going "Oh that's anxiety, Yeah that's a part of every day & everything, other people aren't experiencing that?!!!"

Yeps turning 42 this week, took me forty years to figure out, that my normal wasn't everyone else's normal.

Another forty-something here. Wish I knew then what I know now! Then everything would be perfect, right?
