Mareda here. I am a thirtysomething female; born in the States and currently residing elsewhere with my love; survivor of many life catastrophes; sharing my head space with numerous ghouls, including major depressive and anxiety disorders and adult ADD; an inner child of the pathologically and unapologetically fucked-up, who continue in their path of stupid self-destructiveness to this very moment; sober for twenty-one days; and trying really hard to lead a beautiful life because of/despite it all.

...And I am very thankful for Paul's dedication to the podcast, and this forum. It's nice to meet you all. :)

Hi, Mareda!
Glad to make your virtual acquaintance. I, too, share head space with ghouls. I frequently try to sage them out with meditation, but they keep coming back in the form of relentless ear worms or pesky anxiety roller coaster rides. Oh, well. Moment to moment. Glad to see you are celebrating your sobriety. Here's a big  to day 22! You can totally do it.

Just wanted to welcome you!

Welcome! I really love that you're able to sum up yourself easily and are comfortable doing it in front of total strangers. I lurked on the forum for literally months before I got up the courage to post.
