Just like going to a meeting
Hi,
Just wanted to let you know I'm enjoying your podcast. I've been in recovery for 6 -1/2 years so my insanity is fairly well defined and I like listening to other happily recovering people. I think I got here through Adam Carolla.

Thank you, EL! This could become a really wonderful community in time, I believe.

Welcome to the forum! I really don't have anything intelligent to add beyond that.

I agree, the podcast and the forum combine for a "meeting-like experience".... I assume. I saw Fight Club like 5 times, so I'm pretty sure about it.
It certainly helps somehow! Welcome!

I agree too. I really am not here for depression though, I made that up. I actually have testicular cancer :p.Marty Flipman wrote:I agree, the podcast and the forum combine for a "meeting-like experience".... I assume. I saw Fight Club like 5 times, so I'm pretty sure about it.

ETA:
I do not really have testicular cancer; this was just a joke referencing a part of the movie Fight Club where the main character attends testicular cancer support groups to alleviate his insomnia and depression. Sorry for any confusion, but shame on you for not seeing such an awesome movie .
