Hello all,
I'm new to this forum but not new to mental illness.... Just thought it was time for me to join. I'm super depressed today so I really don't feel like writing much. Well, I do want to tell you all everything but I just don't have the energy to write it all out right now.... Once I get some energy I will post more about me.
Here are a couple things
I am a women, almost 40. Been suffering with MI since the 3rd grade. I live in the Midwest. Its hot here today and I hate hot.
Things I like
Family and friends, going barefoot, sitting on a rock in summer looking at the Sun glittering in the ocean, eating food from the floor with plate on table and sometimes with fingers, dolphins, herbs, healing with herbs, natural remedies, New Zealand, Egypt, and Greece, yellow corn/maize, nature green color, vibrant yellow and orange color, turquoise color, the rainforest, stories about the knights, small open islands without trees, peace, ginger, amber, running down a hill, climbing trees, magic and work with energy - healing, colors, elements, crystals, open areas, temples, pineapple, palm trees, coconuts, oak trees, going on discovering/adventure trips, dancing, vegetable markets, trustworthy people, writing, innocence, Maya Indians, astrology, 1800's dresses, role playing, sea salt, pasta, potatoes, bread & cheese, fresh fruit, oatmeal on a cold morning, ice skating, forests, open fields with wildflowers, stone cottages, waterfalls, the ocean, rainy days, bonfires, literature, vampires, reading, writing, poetry, languages, patchwork quilts, wrought iron beds, the colors blue & purple, light pine & wicker furniture, candles, bubble baths, journals, big widows, singing, piano, violins, castles, Gothic architecture, the sound of Hebrew, frilly dresses, kissing, personal space, open mindedness, the dessert, traveling, board games, woodsy scents….
Things I dislike
Hospitals, being tricked, dishonesty, a certain sickening shade of green and one of pink, being controlled, getting shots, unmelted butter in sandwitches, not being in control of myself/my body, sanitary rooms with no furniture, hospital smells, to be captive, vomiting, human trafficking, mussels, certain buildings, to not be able to breath, chemicals, going somewhere against my will, funny masks, shallowness, cruelty against animals, food poisioning, getting into trouble for speaking up, the holocaust, female suppression, Racism, intolerance, turtleneck sweaters, sharks, bears, lima beans, sleeping in a bed that's not against a wall, mathematics, spiders & bugs, violence and war, rude people, seeing the ones I love suffer, condescending tones, anyone who is mean to children and/or animals, the cotton in medicine bottles, Narrow minded people, people arrogant for no reason, racism, sexism, homophobia, child abuse, child molesters, HYPOCRISY, bullies, modern society and civilization, the way and belief structure of modern society, working one's life away in a meaningless job for just a little money to barely live, hot and humid climates…
