Hello! Name's Sean. I've recently become a fan of the show, and I'm hoping listening to it and reading some of the stuff here on the forums will help me with my struggle. I've been depressed for the better part of 13 years, thanks to the deaths of my parents, the inability to find and keep a job, the stresses of earning a degree, and struggling with finances. It's been a daily struggle to get out of bed and do something constructive. I'm paralyzed by my depression, feeling like anything I could do won't matter, or help, or be worth the effort.
I keep a very small shred of hope that I'll get over this one day.

Re: Howdy
Welcome.
I am sorry about the loss of your parents.
I send encouragement as you complete your degree. Those things are increasingly important even to just get in the door.
I hope your finances turn around too. I can assure you there is hope: while I still struggle with underearning, I have found healing through turning overspending into wise and prudent spending. There is hope.
Hang in there!
