Trying to find a specific episode

I've listened to almost all episodes, some of them twice. Maybe you guys can help me out with something.

I've been looking for a specific episode, namely the one from which one of the samples used in the opening montage is from. That specific sample was in the opening montage from episode 95 (Maria Bamford) to 147 (Listener Amelia). It's a guy (not Paul) speaking in a "raunchy comic"-sounding voice, saying something like "Then I started sabotaging my own career" [...] "to stop him from feeling any joy". I've been going back over many episodes, but haven't been able to pinpoint which guest that was.

Hi!

I, too, am trying to find an episode... featured in the 2016 opening montage: the guy who says "I don't know if I have what the woman who isn't right for me anyway wants" (or something to that effect).
I love his voice, and he seems dark, funny and irreverent-- reminds me a lot of Joe Frank!
Anybody aware?
Thanks!

FP

I'm 99% sure that you are referring to Peter Hesen Episode 235

I really enjoyed his story & I smile a little at the start of every podcast when I hear his voice :D
