Survey starting at 1:06.25 listener KateKnowsNothing: Young woman who was sexually abused as a teenager. I have to wonder if some of the attention she was seeking misplaced neglect from her father. 1:11.45 Her father sounds like a narcissist "How can you do this to me?' regarding her overdose.

I spent 40 years trying to earn the love of a father who is incapable of loving through his own narcissism, before finally learning that the thing I seek from my father does not exist in him- it's not there- it will never be there- and I'm wasting my time looking for a pearl inside a long dead clam.

KateKnowsNothing, I hope that you know that your father has some type of personality disorder, it's not your fault. It's not your fault. Hugs :romance-caress: :romance-grouphug:

I had to turn it off when the guest kept referring to the child as the client.
