Episode 109: Listener Claire Laffar
Good one Paul! (and Claire!)
A theme that I identified with is this idea that we develop coping mechanisms when we are young that aren't as helpful as we become older.
I even kind of enjoyed listening to the advertisement!

It's hard to be depressed listening to her awesome accent. I giggled every time she said "tablets." That sounds so much nicer than "pills."
And I concur with gfyourself -- the little musical cue is a great transition in and out of the advertisement. It was nice!

Agree about the music, good way to handle the ads!

I was actually referring to the fact that I liked that the advertisement was kind of funny in Paul's voice... but the music was cool too

I kind of drifted off after Claire finished, only to drift back in to hear the part about the person that was hospitalized after a failed suicide attempt. "This is much better than a funeral". Wow. Awesome.

And I agree with you people, so nice (sexy) accent.
I just wanna say that the links to her work and podcast has not been post yet.
Thanks again for the show.
