I have ADHD that has persisted into adulthood. I'm not sure what to make of it, since I think there's definitely a niche filled by the type, and that niche is not "cubicle rat." ADHD is connected with a great degree of creativity and risk-taking, and because it is so maladaptive in the 9-to-5 world, it is also connected with a great degree of anxiety and depression. They say that ADHD intersects significantly with people in the public arena . . . so I'm wondering when the topic will be treated in a podcast.
Mind you, while ADHD is an Axis I mental disorder, like depression, it really does seem to have an adaptive function. Thom Hartmann characterizes the restless, quirky ADHD mind as the mind of a hunter, whereas the typical, staid, linear mind that gets stuff done efficiently (and in a cubicle!) and on time is supposed to be the stolid mind of a farmer. Are your guests more like farmers or hunters? It would be a great topic.

E,
Thanks for the suggestion. I"m sure at some point we'll delve more into it. I'm hesitant to jump into things where neither the guest nor I know what we're talking about. You bring up some great points though.
