I have:

1. Done a 15 minute compassion (self and everyone/thing else) meditation
2. Done myofascial release self-massage on my legs and back
3. Turned off my alarm
4. Gone to bed on schedule

I don’t foresee it being difficult to sleep. I’m just preparing for it to be a good sleep.

Beany I need you to become a pro sleeper and move to NZ to teach us all!

Thinking maybe I should get a defusing thing for my room to calm my mind?

Beany if you feel some vibration that’s me channeling you as I spray my yoga mat with essential oils and begin my wind down for bed.

Beany, last night I took some tips from your learnings and applied to my evening.
I slept well until 3am. I was extremely tired and almost fell asleep on the yoga mat mid pose. Flopped into bed and asleep by 6:30pm!!! Such a old 41 year old. I didn’t have terrible dreams for once, not that I can remember anyway. Woke at 3:45 unfortunately. Day off running this morning to rest legs so got up and made a meatloaf! Feeling tired now and it’s 1:11pm!

I tried to make negative thoughts, deliberately, as an experiment. Couldn’t do it; different part of the brain engages. But I saw the automatic negative thoughts for what they were finally; all different ways to tell myself, ‘I feel vulnerable.’
