Thought Boundaries -

I've been thinking about this lately, since I've been given to rumination and extrapolating events outwards to possible conclusions. (Paul calls this Catastrophizing)

(Science fiction writers do this, often to dystopian ends)

Many days I don't have the mental/emotional strength, and it doesn't help me in my immediate life anyway.

So, not like ignoring things at all, just setting limits to conserve mental and emotional energy
