Hey all! I wrote an article online about different dietary supplements that can help alleviate depression and anxiety.

I actually took the info I shared into my own recovery repertoire and it is actually making a difference! The 5-HTP supplement (works like tryptophan, I explain more in the article) taken in the morning does make me feel a little sleepy but generally more calm. For anyone not on SSRIs I would recommend it!
Sorry for the self-promotion But I did learn a lot mostly for my own curiosity and benefit when I wrote this piece and thought I would share.

I think that only a doctor can help you choose the right meds
