Hello Rivergirl,

Long time for me on the board.... Glad you're OK. (Oak will tell you how important HALT is... :) )

A few ideas if I may?

I'm not a big supplement taker, but I've found that Valerian root and Melatonin help me sleep through.
Been alternating them off and on lately.

Hydration, yes! Maybe carry a small water bottle in your pocket to remind you?

And maintaining blood sugar... I've started to carry dried dates in my pocket. Ancient quick-energy source, as good as candy!
A good backup when you're not sure sure when you're next meal will be...

Glad to see you again.

I was told not to take Melatonin due to possible interaction with a prescription drug, but you reminded me that I bought Valerian and still have some on hand. I'll try it this weekend

Funny that you mentioned dates. I looked at a box of organic dates last weekend and then didn't buy it. I've always thought of dates as being as good as candy, even as a kid. Maybe I'll treat myself this weekend.
