I learnt something about time today.

It’s terrifying when you hear the tick of time.
I had the day off as my boss is overseas and I only need to do patient rounds and small amount of paperwork.
I spent the day avoiding the couch and bed. Consistent busy moments, cooking for neighbours who are battling covid, feeding neighbours cat as it seems to have set up camp at my house. Washing floors, doing washing, avoiding my own quite time. Avoiding my own thoughts. Trying to ignore the feeling of failure in regards to my weekend run. Trying to avoid emotional torment bubbling up about my job. Missing my old profession where I could just bury myself in my job where no one could reach me.

Seeing that leaving the profession I was doing possibly saved my life and marriage.
Now I have to deal with everything I’ve been avoiding.

Gosh it feels like a massive relief getting that out! Where would we all be without this forum…. Wishing time would just stop at times as some don’t get the change to wish one more wish.

Never wish a day away.
