Hi Duck1

One room at a time, start with one corner and work your way around. Don’t overthink. You got this. Your self awareness speaks volumes

Hello Duck1!

another resource for housekeeping and organizing is KC Davis. You can read about her here https://www.strugglecare.com/about

she has a lot of great free resources on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@domesticblisters

i really like her book https://www.strugglecare.com/book "How To Keep House While Drowning", it is a really gentle and affirming book

Hi,

So I think today was my first bad day, and now I am ruminating about it.
It's hard for me to say exactly what happened. Let's just say my boss very kindly and discreetly asked me to stop doing something that was offending others. She was very right to do so and I am happy she did this directly.

I just felt bad that she pointed it out. I'm embarrassed.

I don't want to start hating myself and giving out bad energy when I was so good so far. I want to remain, happy cheerful and energetic.

Thank you guys for listening.

Duck1 I hear you loud and clear. Shame is like an invisible outfit we wear, one that can’t be taken off or we don’t know how to take it off. And it some cases it ties up at the back.

I do ponder the question, what is the opposite to shame? I looked it up and it said unconditional love. I’m not sure if I believe there is a world or a person without some sort of shame.

currently, when that part of my brain that spews out self-hating thoughts comes alive, i try to hug it and sooth it like i would hold a crying child.

i don't know if this would help you

i am trying to stop the cycle of self-hatred inside my mind. it is working out for me
