Just want to check in and say I'm here! I have some things going on and so many feelings. I'm in a marvelous state of flux and we'll see where I land in the next week or so with some things beyond my control. Then I will be able to do a bit of a reset and figure out how to go ahead. I feel badly that I'm not responding to your threads but I am reading and thinking fondly.

My brother and I briefly reconnected during the height of the virus uncertainty and he sent me that album. It meant so much to me.
There's a lyric in another song, "live and learn that life is not unkind" and the melancholy hopefulness of that just kills me. There's a quote somewhere attributed to Keanu Reeves along the lines of you don't have to be happy to have a good life.
