And the frozen, safe-to-eat cookie dough they sell. That satisfying grittiness of the sugar.
Food has never failed me.
Parents, society, employers and above all myself have consistently failed me. What I was promised by religion, family, work, romance and education have all been proven lies. The only truth I know is food: food and pop have never failed me.
That's why they know they're lying when they claim that "food isn't love"; they always try to ban what they can't compete with.
Food has always given me exactly what I expect, every time.
