What does dying mean in a dream?
Could be any number of things. Death is ever present in this world. A background hum.
The implication for both dreams: forces beyond my control have full power over my life, and to end it.
True. That happens somewhere in the world to someone, everyday.
Nothing I do matters.
Not true.
How am I supposed to face the day after two nights of dreams like these?
1. Breathe
2. Be mindful
3. Remember your friends here.

Thank you for your encouragement, SnoringDog. Also, I effected your advice and things went better.

I have to say that nuclear bomb dream was one of the two worst dreams I’ve ever had. That dream sucked.

(The worst was one I had when I first got sober: I was walking through this hideously tacky cemetery with horribly ornate gravestones.)

In general, my dear friends, I am sick of bad dreams.
