I work in a residential building as a building manager where 90% of the people that live there are Asian. I think I’m just over dumb people that need to use their brain for a second before speaking but I’m starting to feel I might be racist.

This is what I have to put up with that is making me think I am racist.

I have people ask me questions like “What level is level 5 on?” “Where did I park my car?” “What is my address?”

Everyday there will be at least 4 people that will walk in to a wall or the mirrors. There was a person standing in front of a mirror for 5mins and complained that life isn’t working.

After 3 years of this I can’t take it any more and I’m starting to be bit of a asshole to them and treat them like little kids and it is making me fell racist but I am dating a girl that is half Asian.

Am I racist or just sick of dumb people?

If you add those Asians sure are dumbfucks.. or if youve decided all asians are stupid.. then it becomes racists. Stupidity is color blind comes in all shapes and sizes. When you work with the public you see stupid people all the time. That makes you treasure the smart ones all the more and gives you hope for humanity. Then you get that ditzy 20 something that didnt put her car in park and it just rolled out of the gas station and you think what pissed in the gene pool? Sometimes you gotta treat people like theyre five. Are these people new to our country they could just be so insecure that they come off as stupid. Sometimes its good to take a few days off to get away from the public. That always refreshed me.
