I am in debt. 2 student loans, 2 overdrafts, 2 payday loans, a credit account, an overdrawn bank account. Monthly rent and bills to pay. No job. I feel sick with worry, I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do

You are not alone, Apple.
I have been unemployed and in debt myself. Your situation describes much of my 2005-2008.
I found love and acceptance in support groups for those in debt.
As I see it, debt is caused one or both of two things:
1. Not earning enough.
2. Spending too much.
I have struggled (and still do) with the #1. There is an online support group specifically for underearners, which I'll pm you about.
There is hope. You are not alone. There is a way out of this kind of mess.

I too can so relate. I have very little to no income. I feel overwhelmed, withdrawn and worse, apathetic. <sigh> oak, can I have some of the info on online support group for underearners? Much appreciated.

Thank you for the replies. Things have got worse and I don't know what ongoing to do when the 9th arrives and my rent is overdue. It's a messed up relief to think that, if I get evicted and my life is in pieces I can always kill myself. Ill try to keep logging in but the easy way out is to bury my head in the sand, however short lived that solution is!

Been there myself, considering suicide as an alternative to homelessness.
