Hey all.

Today I have five years sober

I feel a contended, calm gratitude.

I say this to express publicly my gratitude for the good life I've enjoyed since then. Sobriety is a gift, and I am grateful.

I also say this publicly, here, even more to encourage others that sobriety is possible.

Congratulations on that milestone. I admire the determination and belief in yourself that it must have taken to make the choice to do that.
