Generations of illness untreated and unaddressed

Only the surviving family members know the whole story here, but this brief glimpse into their lives is monstrous and horrifying. Some members of this board might even be able to relate, although hopefully not with the brutal, violent ending to the story.

They could probably make one of those cheesy Lifetime Channel movies out of this story. But the point is, it is so important to acknowledge, address and treat mental illness. It went unaddressed in this family for (at least) two generations, and ended horribly.
