Off to buy lottery tickets

Sometimes I get into a thing where I start buying lottery tickets. So I have something to hope for.
Plus buying them helps give me something nice to think about when I go to sleep.
Then when I get up in the morning I don't check them right away because it lengthens the time that I COULD be a big winner.
Also I try not to buy them at the store right across the road - if I walk by in the morning and they don't have a "JACKPOT WINNER" sign or something like that in the window then I know I've lost.
