On forum pages, near the bottom, there's a line that says, "Users browsing this forum:" Often, along with myself, and perhaps other members and guests, I see "Google[bot]" and/or "Bing[bot]."
What are these? Are they benign? Are they invited?
Thanks.

Those bots allow people from the outside to search in here using Google and Bing. They roam around and read what we say. It helps Paul increase the popularity of this forum, so that is OK.

Don't worry, they're not bots related to the Skynet AI program.
