This is incredible
We watched the roof tear off a house across from work. We have closed and tomorrow also as worst is yet to come. Going to charge everything up in case we have no power overnight.
The ducks are in the house as Matt is home. They have had dinner!
All the olives are off my tree!
Will try get some pics. Not seen winds like this since cyclone Bola. That was back in 1988.

Trees down all over the show. We currently been put in red warning so shelters being set up.
The people up north will be devastated. They haven’t recovered from last one a few weeks ago.
The man hole cover in our ceiling that goes to attic has blown upwards with the pressure. We have a brick home thankfully. Solid but windows can only take so much.

Terrifying

Oh my goodness, Mental Fairy.

That is terrifying. This storm sounds like the real deal.

I suppose seeing a roof just flying away is something that will stay with a person for awhile.

I hope you, your family, your ducks, and your home all do well.

Well it’s just turned southerly and I have to say we are actually worried as it’s not even hit yet. Apparently tomorrow morning is the worst. Still got power!

On a bright note got dinner cooked before power flickered.

I'm just now reading your posts, MF. It must have been frightening to see the roof get blown away.

I'm not good at prayer, but saying one for you and your family anyway.

I'm worried for your safey, but also selfishly thinking of how much I (we) need you.

Please keep us posted.

Hi team
Your thoughts and posts mean so much to myself and my boys.
We have lost many windows, garden is a mess. The winds are around 75km currently which is less than overnight. We have all been awake and trying to block doors with water coming in. Trees are down everywhere. We have two emergency cases at work with morning. So making way in with our neighbour who is search and rescue!
Our cat is scared stiff so we all ended up hiding in downstairs area as it’s underground and less noise. So we thought! It’s been a wild ride.
My heart goes out to the missing firefighter under the land slide. Search has been called off as too dangerous. No power at home or gas. All the glass on one side of the house has blown out leading up to the entry way of home. It’s all fixable.

The reports are saying one more day of this and it will be ok.

Will get to these patients and get home again.

Love to all. You all mean so much.
