The Devil Lies With Me (Poem)

A poem I wrote a few years ago to get some of the emotion out somehow...you don't have to like it, it's just one that still resonates with me
The Devil Lies With Me
The devil lies with me,
Within my thoughts, within my mind.
I see him,
The veil over my eyes
Blinding me with shadows,
Living in horrid darkness.
He haunts my every thought.
Do not come near
For I will surely ruin you
Like he has defiled me.
I've been spoiled,
Ravaged by his grave temptations,
Reduced to nothing more than the foulest of things.
Forever he will haunt my mind.
This I deserve
For the depraved acts I've done.
The devil lies with me.
This I have done.
Do not let him infect your heart
I plead you hear my warning.
Once he grabs hold,
You are his.
The Devil Lies With Me
The devil lies with me,
Within my thoughts, within my mind.
I see him,
The veil over my eyes
Blinding me with shadows,
Living in horrid darkness.
He haunts my every thought.
Do not come near
For I will surely ruin you
Like he has defiled me.
I've been spoiled,
Ravaged by his grave temptations,
Reduced to nothing more than the foulest of things.
Forever he will haunt my mind.
This I deserve
For the depraved acts I've done.
The devil lies with me.
This I have done.
Do not let him infect your heart
I plead you hear my warning.
Once he grabs hold,
You are his.
