I've never really posted on boards before, so I'm not totally up on the etiquette. I hope this makes sense as a new topic.

My niece was recently assaulted, and our family is doing our best to support her with this latest trauma. She also suffers from bipolar disorder, and is early in her journey towards recovery. She and I have talked for years about the Post Secret community. It's where I first learned the value of voicing fears and secrets, and the importanance of knowing "you are not alone". This podcast has really helped me to grow further in gaining empathy and compassion for her struggle, and reinforce the truth for us all to know that we are not alone. I've encouraged her to listen as well.

I felt this video Post Secret has up would be a comfort to her, but she's in the hospital this week. I'll share it with her when I can, but I thought I would post the link here for any other victims it may comfort or encourage.
