Too much to handle

Post by justkeepswimming »

I think my depression is too much for my boyfriend to handle. I feel bad for him that he might have to deal with my emotional, irrational, pathetic self for the rest of his life. I don't even want to do that! He asked over text if I wanted to talk about how I was overwhelmed and bummed lately and all I could say was "I don't want to be a bother. I'm fine and it's ok" and I hate that I couldn't ask my person for help. What is wrong with me!? I want help but I have no idea how to ask for it without feeling insanely guilty for imposing on him.
